Position
Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for maintaining / increasing sales volume with existing and new accounts for UR's portfolio of collaborative robots and services.
Located in the Tennessee area, the Business Development Manager will be accountable for executing assigned sales goals and sales plans within a designated sales territory.
The BDM will work proactively with appropriate division management and related support departments to ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded.
This candidate will live in the greater Birmingham, Nashville, or Atlanta area.

Responsibilities:
Support Area Sales Managers and Channel Development Managers in recruiting and onboarding select system integrator companies Drive KPIs and action plans to achieve the annual target.
Develop countermeasures to get back to budget if behind Hunt for new sales opportunities and once qualified/validated introduce them to the local UR distributor Manage opportunity funnel, forecasting and action plans Canvass, initiate, qualify sales leads and follow through to ensure a solid sales funnel with the US/Canada sales team Participate in joint customer visits or virtual meetings along with sales team members, distributor's sales reps, and integrators Represent company at tradeshows and other professional activities Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace Must be capable of overnight travel up to 50% of time; or as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related subject A minimum of five (5) years of B2B sales experience including in-depth understanding of system integrators, channel/partner programs and funnel management Documented experience in solution selling both direct and through distribution or system integrators A willingness to embrace and drive change Demonstrated success in driving aggressive revenue growth with new products Strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to end-users Business acumen that can be applied at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support Effective communicator and influencer with outstanding writing, editing and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize projects and tasks Self-starter who is resourceful and initiates work without specific instruction Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 #LI-SMTER#HYBRID Recommended Skills Business Development Business To Business Commercial Awareness Communication Coordinating Creativity Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
