Nailed Wood Department Manager

The Nailed Wood Department Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the NW Operations with regards to safety, quality, operational effectiveness and alignment of resources to meet the daily goals of the operations.
This position will report directly to the plant manager and have three salaried supervisors & 110-115 hourly associates and will have responsible for 4 separate manufacturing lines and full P & L responsibility for the department.
Maintain a high level of safety and 5s standards
Lead the daily operations regarding matters of safety, quality, cost, production, and uptime
Responsible for daily operational uptime and efficiency expectations to meet customer demands of the nailed wood lines.
Train and develop operations personnel into high performance teams through SPS/TPM objectives and strategic direction.
Monitor technical operations with effective utilization of data and analytics.
Participate in setting of the plant goals and objectives and monitor performance to assure continuous improvement.
Inspires others and takes accountability for focused improvements by developing new and creative approaches.
Fosters the integration of a diversity of perspectives across the organization resulting in development of high performing teams and output.
Involves, trusts and optimizes a diverse, high performing team and creates a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership.
Create work environment of continuous improvement utilizing SPS/TPM Tools
Responsible for year on year productivity savings in the area of labor & variable costs.
4 year degree preferred
5+ years of experience required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
